Audit logs

Review Team and Regulated audit logs to see who changed policies, webhooks, access, and other governance settings within retention limits.

Governance change history

Audit logs are available on Team and Regulated plans. They record who changed governance-relevant settings, such as policies, webhooks, access, and related configuration, so owners can investigate a decision trail. Scan events can also show when a CodeCleared platform administrator triggered a credit-free support scan (creditFree in metadata); the product Audit Logs UI shows a credit-free badge for these events — see Credits.

Review an event

Filter by organization, actor, action, and time window. Compare the log entry with the configuration that is currently active; a log event records a change, not necessarily the current state. Keep the organization boundary clear when an agency or administrator works for multiple clients.

Retention matters

Audit-log availability follows your plan’s retention. If you need evidence for a longer control period, export or retain it through your approved process before it expires or before a plan change. Logs do not replace access reviews or approval workflows.
